How to create a Transparent Header

Creating a Transparent Header in Nimva theme

A Transparent Header can be enabled/disabled for individual pages, posts or portfolio items. When the Transparent Header is enabled, the entire Header (Logo + Navigation Menu) will blend with the first element on your page, post or portfolio item.

For Pages it is recommended to set a Padding Top, this way the header will not overlap with the first content that your page has.

Edit your page using the Backend editor of WordPress, scroll down below the content area until you see the Advanced Customization box

Under Header Settings -> Transparent Header -> set it to Yes and update/publish your page.

Optionally you should also set a Transparent Logo which will be used only for pages, posts or Portfolio items using the Transparent Header. This will load the header with the Transparent Logo and will automatically change it to the default Logo when scrolling down the page.

To set the Transparent Logo, go to Theme Options -> Logo -> Logo settings -> Transparent Header Logo and Transparent Header Retina Logo
