Enable a Sidebar on a Portfolio Post

By default, each Portfolio Post create will use the full width of the content area, without having a Sidebar enabled to the left or right of the portfolio post content.

To Enable a Sidebar on a Portfolio Post, edit your current post, scroll down below the content area and find the Advanced Customization box.

Under Portfolio Options -> Enable Sidebar select Yes and also choose the location of the Sidebar using the Sidebar Position select box.

Also we have to set the Width (Content Columns) option to Full Width, otherwise the Sidebar will not appear.

After selecting these options, update your Portfolio post and view it in your browser window. The sidebar should appear to the left or right, depending on the location you chose.

To select the Sidebar that will be used for all your Portfolio Posts navigate to Theme Options -> Portfolio Options -> Portfolio Settings -> Portfolio Sidebar -> and select one of the existing sidebars you want to use.
