Changing the Header Position: Top / Left / Right using Elementor

Setting a header layout position on the left / right / top of the content area.

A Header Layout can be positioned on the Top, on the Left or on the Right position of the content area.

Here are two examples of Headers positioned on the left:

To position a Header on Left or Right of the content area, we have to first edit a Header layout.

First navigate to your WordPress admin dashboard -> Creativo Elements -> Headers.

Edit one of the existing headers. If there are currently no headers created, follow this tutorial to create your first header.

Under Settings -> Header Settings -> Header Position -> choose Left.

When using the Header positioned on the Left or Right we have to make sure that the Section used is set to use a 1 Column layout. This way all the elements will appear one above the other.

Also make sure that the Transparent Header option is turned off, set to No.

The Transparent Logos should also be removed since this is not a Transparent Header.

We can set the actual the width of the Left/Right Header using the Side Header Width setting.

Also we can set a Background Color and a box shadow for the Header.

For Navigation Menu element, make sure to set the Side Navigation Menu option to Yes.

If the settings were correctly set, you should see the Header appear on the left area similar to the image below:
