Sometimes it is needed to add custom JavaScript code to the Header area. Instead of modifying the core files of the theme and lose your changes upon future updates, navigate to Theme Options -> General Settings -> Tracking Code / Header Code / Body Code section and paste your code under the Code before </head> section.
The code added here will be placed in the header, before the closing </head> tag.
We can also add here links to external stylesheets, similar to what TypeKit generates when using a custom font from the Adobe TypeKit database.
