How to change the Site Width

Changing the Site Width in Nimva 3

To change the side width in Nimva 3, navigate to Theme Options -> Background -> Site Layout -> Layout Width.

By default the 1160px option will be selected. Choose 960px if you want to use a smaller sized layout – old websites or sites with less content.

We also introduced the option to use a Custom Width Layout which can represent both pixels or percent values.

Using the Custom Width Layout option

Under Custom Width Layout option, enter a value in pixels. For example: 1600px – this will force the entire site width to use the 1600px. The Layout Width option will be ignored.

In modern webdesign, a wider layout is recommended. Play around with this setting until you are comfortable with the result.

We also added the option to set individual width for certain pages, posts or portfolio items.

To take advantage of this feature, navigate to one of your pages or create a new page/post/portfolio.

Scroll down below the content area until the Advanced Customization box appears.

Under General Options -> Custom Width enter the width in pixels or percent that you want to use for that specific page/post/portfolio item.

Update your page/post/portfolio and view your current changes.
