Using the Page Builder
Access and use the Front End Page Builder.
After installing and activating the Creativo theme, you are also asked to install the plugins that come with Creativo. One of the required plugins is called: Visual Composer, currently known as WP Bakery Page Builder.
This is a required plugin because it is actually the Page Builder plugin that allows us to build and edit pages using a Visual Layout.
There are two ways to access the Page Builder:
- using the Backend Editor
- using the FrontEnd Editor
The Backend Editor is a bit faster but it does not allow us to view the page content in a Live mode, while the FrontEnd editor allows us to view exactly how the page elements will look without having to publish/update the page.
To access the FrontEnd Editor – recommended Editor – you can navigate to the page you want to edit either in the WordPress Admin Dashboard and then enable the FrontEnd editor from the page editing page or you can navigate to your page in the front end of your site and then hit theĀ Edit with WP Bakery Page BuilderĀ button as seen below:

After clicking theĀ Edit with WP Bakery Page BuilderĀ link, the page will be loaded in the FrontEnd editor and now we can start editing everything we want in our content area:

Expand the Row controls and hit the Edit button to edit the settings of the Row element. A pop up window will appear with customization options for the Row element.
The Row element is the placeholder of all elements. Each element that we add on a page will always be placed inside a Row element.
The Row element can have a custom layout – for example, we can have a Row element with 3 equally columns or we can have a Row element with 3 columns having two columns with one third width and one column with two thirds width. This would translate in the following format: 1/4 + 1/2 +1/4 .
The example below uses 3 columns with equal widths and inside each column theĀ Icon/Image BoxĀ element is placed. Each element can be placed inside any Row element or Column and it will inherit the space of that Row or Column.
