Creating a Sticky Section/Container with Elementor

Setting a Sticky Section with Elementor and Creativo Elements plugin.

By using Elementor Page Builder and Creativo Elements plugin, we can create Containers/Sections that become sticky or fixed upon user scroll. This is very useful if we want to focus user attention over a certain Container/Section, like a Call to Action area or if we want the Header to become sticky on user vertical scroll.

To create a Sticky Section, first enable the Elementor Editor.

Select an existing Container/Section or add a new Container/Section. It does not matter the actual layout used or the number of columns ( or containers ) placed inside the Container/Section.

Add some content inside it if there isn’t already.

With the Container/Section selected, make sure you are under the Layout Tab.

Scroll down a bit and find the the Enable Sticky Position option, setting it to Yes. See the video below.

Now when we scroll down the page, that section will become sticky when reaching it. Basically on scroll down the Section will follow the user, similar to a sticky Header – common this days in Modern WebDesign.

If we scroll up, above the initial location of the Section, the sticky effect will be removed, as seen in the video above.

Using the Sticky Top Position option we can define an offset for the Sticky Section.
