Users can add or remove Related Posts section via the Theme Options interface of the current active theme, or by using a WordPress plugin.
A very common plugin used in modern WordPress sites is JetPack. If you happen to have JetPack plugin active, you might already have the Related Posts section active on your Posts pages.
1. Add or Remove Related Posts from JetPack plugin
To Related Posts can be removed by plugin follow these steps:
- navigate to your WordPress dashboard
- JetPack -> Settings -> Traffic Tab.

Notice here the Show related content after posts option enabled.
You might also have the Highlight related content with a heading and Show a thumbnail image where available options enabled.
Set Show related content after posts option to Off and the Related Posts section is not going to appear on the single post anymore.
2. Add or Remove Related Posts from Creativo Theme
If you are using the Creativo Theme, you can add or remove the Related Posts section by doing the following:
- login to your WordPress Admin area
- navigate to Creativo Live Options -> Blog -> Related Posts
- set the Related Posts Enable/Disable option to On/Off, as seen in the screenshot below

Hit the Save button and now the Related Posts section should not appear anymore on the Single Post page.
If you are using a caching plugin, make sure to clear the cache generated by that caching plugin.
Related Posts benefits
The Related Posts section should not be removed for two major reasons:
- the related posts will allow users a much easier navigation to existing posts.
- having a Related Posts section will improve the internal links score and move the needle of the overall SEO score.
