{"id":299,"date":"2019-03-03T12:47:19","date_gmt":"2019-03-03T12:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/?p=299"},"modified":"2019-03-03T13:10:04","modified_gmt":"2019-03-03T13:10:04","slug":"creating-a-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/creating-a-post\/","title":{"rendered":"Creating Your First Post"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To create a post navigate to your <strong>WordPress admin dashboard -> Posts -> Add New<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enter a <strong>Title<\/strong> for your new post and start adding some content &#8211; paragraph, images, add your own content. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"690\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/creating-post.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/creating-post.jpg 690w, https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/creating-post-256x300.jpg 256w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next fill your post in the categories you want using the <strong>Categories select box <\/strong>from the right sidebar of your editing screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"263\" height=\"234\" src=\"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/categories-fill.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-302\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can choose as many categories as you want but we recommend to keep posts in a maximum of 3-4 categories at most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similar to the Categories, each post can also have its own tags. Use the <strong>Tags box<\/strong> to add the tags you want for each post. Separate each tag with a comma character: &#8220;,&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"249\" height=\"169\" src=\"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/tags.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-305\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next step we have to take is to set at least one <strong>Featured Image <\/strong>for our new post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"663\" height=\"318\" src=\"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/featured-image-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-312\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/featured-image-2.jpg 663w, https:\/\/rockythemes.com\/nimva3\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/featured-image-2-300x144.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 663px) 100vw, 663px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the right sidebar of your <strong>editing window -> Featured Image -> click on Set featured Image<\/strong> and upload or choose an image from your Media library. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The image size set as the Featured Image should be at least <strong>800px wide<\/strong>.
