Blog page - Comments headings

Hi Stef,

I've noticed when using a dark theme, I couldn't seem to use Creativo Theme Options to customize the "Leave a Comment" and "Comment" headings below a blog post.

At present they are set to .text-gray-900 and .text-gray-800 classes respectively, which are too dark for a dark theme.

Did I miss an options setting?

Any suggestions for the best custom CSS to fix the issue, so I don't break anything anywhere else?

Example page: https://ceciliabell.com/2021/09/14/welcome/ (although I will have added custom CSS by the time you view)

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Stef,

I've decided to turn comments off for the blog, so this question is low priority.

Thanks,

Greg

Hey Greg,

Can you please enable it back?

Also, the Social Sharing icons at the bottom can be changed in terms of colors, under Creativo Live Options -> Blog -> Default Design Options -> Social Sharing Icons Color.

Sorry Stef, I've turned off comments because I'm preparing to go live.

It's a pretty easy issue to replicate, just use the https://rockythemes.com/creativo-personal/ theme and look at the blog page layout.

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Greg,

There is no blog page on the Personal Portfolio.

Using Custom Css rules we can change the actual styling for the Comments area.

Try adding the following css rules to change that grey border to something more close to your design:

Code: Select all

.single .post_meta, .single-post .post_container .blogpost, .author-section{ border-color:#333; }
The comments are turned off but the rule I sent are for the Post Meta border and Author.

Thanks,
Stef
